NOTICE

The Preferred Title Workflow referenced below will no longer be used to select a preferred title. All requests for title changes must be done in Workday. Please contact the Office of Human Resources for more information.

This workflow allows you to choose which job title to display in Outlook and in Fairfield University’s online directory.

Please note that you can only select a Title that has been assigned to you by Human Resources and is Active.

  1. Log on to the Novell Identity Manager UserApp at http://netiqua.fairfield.edu/.
    Please note that this website is only accessible while on-campus or using VPN 


  2. From the Work Dashboard tab, click on Make a Process Request.

  3. Click on Continue

  4. Select the Preferred Title Workflow from the list. 
  5. Your current preferred title will be displayed.  If you wish to change your preferred title to another of your Banner job titles, click on the title you wish to select.  It should be highlighted as shown below.  Then press Submit.
    *Please note that you may have to scroll down the list to find you preferred title.
  6. Press Close to exit the workflow.  Your title should update in Outlook immediately.
